Happy new year! It’s the time of year when a lot of people in the online business space - especially coaches, are posting 2021 Revenue numbers and screenshots of bank accounts. This can seduce us into believing that they must be good at coaching, know something important about business, or be the right coach for us…and it may not be true! It’s also the time of year where the diet/fitness industry is churning out big promise programs - and there’s something that these 2 industries have in common. People selling you the “one, best, right” way to do something for which there is no “one, best, right” way…and if the program doesn’t work for you it’s your fault. Right? Wrong. Listen up for my thoughts about this trend, and what we need to look at in ourselves if we tend to get seduced by people promising us a solution that seems too good to be true. Also hear some info about what to look for in a coach, and how to screen a potential coach when you’re looking for help.
